Since I'm sick, again I know, I was thinking of stuff I need to take with me to New York. For so called inspiration I was looking on pretty (tumble)blogs. I feel pretty shallow that I'm only thiking about my presence and not my comfort. Maybe it's possible to combine, maybe. Here is a little collage of things I need to bring with me, just as a reminder. The collage shows clothes that look pretty and are comfy, I can't run a marathon on Alexander McQueen-ish shoes.

Conclusion: bring oversized jumpers, minnetonka's, leather leggings, black jeans, striped sweaters, denim blouses, leather jackets, furry hats, vintage bags and pretty blazers with me in my bag. And bring even more back home, a wish-list is coming.

WHY are the 2009, 2o10 collections so good? I guess Miu Miu has the best collection for spring 2010, the prints are awesome and the shoes are to die for. They have used cats, dogs, naked ladies, dots, swallows and other figures on their fabrics for their bags, skirts, dresses, shoes and blouses. I'm planning on making a catbroche in Miu Miu style. The dresses with the swarovski crystals remind me of ice-skating dresses. The collars with the naked ladies are a super DIY idea, maybe I'll make them too! If I had the money I would defenitely buy the cat dress and the swallow heels. Enough talking, here are some runway shots of the show!

I always liked fall and winter better than spring or summer. You can wear way more clothes and you can use cool accesories like fur hats and huge scarves. The colours are beautiful and mostly dark -ai laik-. I can't wait for the temperatures to drop below zero, so I can wear my new russian fur hat with a huge coat, big boots and a cute dress.
